Hi all, I am a hunting guide in New Zealand with openings available throughout this year. I operate a little differently to most guiding services here as I run several blocks at different price ranges allowing hunters to have a warm up hunt on a cheaper block (bag several animals) before moving on to a feature hunt. Although I offer hunts for several game species, One of my specialities is wild cattle which are indiginous to this area and have roamed here ever since NZ was first settled. These animals are both aggressive and spooky. It seems that the hunter either gets a view of a rump dissapearing into the woods or else is faced with a standoff. Not long ago, a lead bull chased a lady tramping through the area up a tree. The bull knocked her out of the tree and ripped her open (60 stitches on her thigh). Fortunately she is a tough old biddyand got over the ordeal in due course. I saw this animal about two weeks ago. A big brindle coloured beast, about 12 years oldwith massive horns.
