I have leased a property in Hancock County Illinois that my family and friends used to hunt before leasing got so big. The farm is 374 total acres, 282 acres in timber, 52 acres in crops,and 40 acres in CRP.
I took a 140 class buck off this back 1980. This is a very productive property producing 160 class deer even when it was being hunted like a @#$/ house.
I am looking for5 to 6 hunters to helpoffset the cost of the lease. I willdo 1group of 5 or6 hunters or 2 groups of 3 hunters.Hunts will be for 5 days and hunters will need to supplytheirown stands. I will work with hunters on the dates, any five days of the week. We have some open dates at our cabin for lodging, but meals are not included. These will be the"ONLY" bowhunters to hunt this farm besides my son and I. Since heplays basketball and I'm an assistant middle school bb coach,itwillnot allow us a lot of time in a treestand to bowhunt.
