go to huntinfo.com to see if any good/bad reviews. i have hunted illinois last 3 years, CALL several references. good-luck. i personnally would recomend bow-only outfitter with 140" minimum.if spending the money, hear good reviews about tom at bucksbeware.com
if you are referring to doug benefield with illinois connection or illinoisbowhunting.com then, yes, i have hunted with him since 2000. he runs a great outfit. top of the line and does nothing but think of his hunters and try to put them on deer. would refer him to anyone. hope this helps. by the way, have taken several great deer hunting with him over the last few years.
