Here is a great opportunity for a moose hunt in Newfoundland. This hunt takes place on Glover island. The island is 2 miles wide and 25 miles long. There is only one outfitter on the island and he did not hunt the island last year. This should make for some nice bulls this fall. It will only be hunted 2 weeks this fall. There are 3 openings for the 1st week of the season. The hunt starts 9th 2007 and ends Sept 16th. There will only be 4 hunters in camp.The cost of the hunt is $3950 US plus license of about $350. the price includes airport pick up and return in Deer Lake, food & lodging, guide, helicopter into the island. when you get your moose it is picked up by helicopter and taken to be processed.
