Southern Tier Hunting Lease 105 acres

T105 acres for lease in Tioga county NY. This zone is now rifle, no more shotgun.. I am leasing the property for the 06 deer season and 07 spring turkey season. The lease is for this season, and if all goes well I would be willing to renew the lease again for a longer term the following year.. This property is a good piece of land, it is surrounded by other farms that have corn and alfalfa. This property is 75% timber with lots of hardwood & oaks. There is a running stream through it, with a ravine. Small fields with clover on them. I also have bow stands in place if you want to use them.. You would be welcome to bring up your camper or there are local motels very close by to stay at.. Hunting leases are getting more scarce every year, my price for the lease is $2500.00.. This has never been leased before, I moved and I am not able to get up there to hunt any more.

I don't want to ruffle any feathers, but that seems a bit high for the acreage and the amount of time allowed to hunt.

Wow! Good Luck, we get $12 an acre for our leases (13) in Steuben County.

I just checked out your listing and noticed some guy had 30 acres on there for archery only and wants $3500 and you have to share it! Our lease prices are set to cover the property taxes on the land and are for a full year of access. I'm not knocking anyone for making a buck, but what will happen is other land owners will see these kind of fees and price the leases right out of the regular guys hands[:@]

man you guys in NY are lucky.. if this was in Pa this guy would have cash in his hand.. i don't find the price bad at all.. but maybe that cause i'm used to not being able to have land to hunt.. hey can you pick that land up and bring it into PA close to phila
