We are looking to rent our farm in Calhoun County IL.
Calhoun County is situated between the IL and Miss rivers.
It is the most deer infested place in IL according to the Dept of Conservation.
We have havested 200+ pound does
and bucks that were 200 to 250 - FIELD DRESSED!
The farm has a 3200 sq ft geodesic dome house on it that is not finished inside. However it does have a full kitchen and bathroom. Washer and dryer. Woodburners on the 1st and 2nd floors and plenty of room to sleep on the 3rd (beds already there). Also a large deck.
The farm is on 85 acres mostly of woods.
The surrounding property is mostly woods and some crop fields.
Our church had 8 people gun hunting on it at once many years ago.
You might have 10 and still be out of each others way.
This lease is for the entire bow season up to 1 week before 1st shotgun season. You can resume 4 days after 1st shotgun season weekend.
This applies to the 2nd shotgun season as well.
You will not be cooked for unless you let us know this is needed.
You will essentially have the place to yourself.
We are asking $10,000 for the season.

We have never done this before and we are looking for ANY helpful instruction on how to get the place rented.
