Montana Hunt...

I'm not sure if this is the right thread or not to post this question, but here goes:

I bought a guarenteed big game outfitter license through an outfitter.I am going to hunt with him for a week. My question is if I am not successful, is it possible to use this license and "hunt on my own" or do I need to be with the outfitter? He can only give me a week but am I legally allowed to hunt after his assigned week as long as I hunt during the Montana seasons?

You can hunt big game ONLY with your licensed outfitter or one of his guides. You can hunt other game on your own.
