160 acres in 3 tracts located 6 miles southwest of Waverly in Morgan County, IL; minimum of 2 hunters per tract.Since we don't like to overhunt property each tract is available for 2 leases only. A lease is based on 5 day hunt. Choose your 5 day slot on a first come, first serve basis. We offer an exclusive lease on tracts of land. To getan exclusive lease on a tract of land the group must lease for 10 days. If hunters choose exclusive lease option, we will guarantee the property will not be bowhunted from the beginning of bow season through their bow hunt. This property is being leased by the farmer of a large family farm. We are not outfitters. Lease price is $400 per hunter. All tracts have the habitat to offer a hunter some real trophy hunting. We don't offer lodging or meals, but it is offered in nearby towns. We havewater and electric available for camper service. but is subject to availability. Description of tracts: Tract 1: approximately 40 acres rolling hills a few small grain fields with grassy borders. Small pond with 2 large wooded draws along with a small timber (natural funnels here). Tract 2: 80 acres that joins up to Apple Creek. Has 56 acres of farmland, wooded draws dividing farmland. Has approximately 3 acres of prairie grass by creek (great bedding ground). Has approximately 21 acres of timber between the 3 draws and a small timber. Tract 3: 40 acres of mostly timber that joins Apple Creek, has approximately 3 acres of prairie grass (great bedding area). Neighboring lands has plenty of grain fields. Note: a group has the option of leasing any combination of tracts or all tracts as one. Note: If 2 tracts were leased by a group we would need a minimum of 4 hunters and if all 3 tracts were leased by a group, we would need a minimum of 6 hunters. We allow hunters 1/2 day before hunt to scout and set up stands and 1/2 day after hunt to take down stands. Note: we allow only tree stands that don't require piercing of trees. This area offers alot of trophy opportunity without a lot of hunting pressure.
