Default Hunting Hats - Black Rock Gear

Hey Guys,

A couple of my hunting buddies suggested I check this site out and with Hunting season right around the corner I thought I should definitely post up.

I have a small gear shop that's been focused on making ultralight down gear for backpackers, hammock campers and long distance hikers but last year we expanded to include some items geared toward hunting.

Our flagship product is the Black Rock Hat which is an ultralight four season backcountry hat. It's great in the snow, ice and wind and is built to keep you warm. It's also extremely light and compressible making it an excellent hat to stuff in a pocket and keep it with you anywhere you go. So if your not hunting in sub-zero temps this is the item. All our hats are made from high quality ripstop nylon treated with a durable water repellent and filled with the highest quality 900fp goose down. They are also lined with a sweat wicking Dryline band so that it fits nice and snug and stays in place.

Otherwise the Sportsman is made for those extreme cold temps. It's available in both Hunter's Orange or Black and it's made from a heavier more rain proof material. It's overstuffed with extra down and is perfect for sitting in that duck blind or tree stand during those cold winter hunts. Last year we sold out of these so fast I never had a chance to post anything here before they were gone! We had so many requests from hunter's though that we released them again this year.

All of our gear is handmade right here in the USA and we are really proud of what we make. There are lots of reviews out there and tons of backcountry enthusiasts that have been wearing our gear for a few years that simply love it. The Sportsman's are a seasonal release for hunting and they usually don't last all winter before they are gone.

Thanks,
Evan Cabodi
