I've been doing decoy flocking for many years now and have flocked over 1500 heads. Maybe some of your old decoys are out of date, and need a little something to make them "come to life". Or maybe the factory flocking on your decoys is coming off and they just don't look as good anymore. Flocked heads can make a world of difference in the appearance of your decoys, and can help fool weary birds.
