What are a good pair of boots for cold weather?

Any one with a recommendation on a good pair of cold weather boots to wear? Im going to Iowa and it will probally be snowing and I get cold feet easy. Thanks for any recommendations.

I'd look at something with at least 1,000 grams of Thinsulate insulation. 3M makes that insulation and it ROCKS! You really can't skimp on quality footwear. Be willing to pay because some quality boots that are going to be confortable, and are insulated will aren't going to be cheap.

If you're near a Bass Pro, they sell RedHead stuff that is pretty good. And it's relatively inexpensive depending on the person buying it. I like their stuff and some of it has Thinsulate.

I have a pair of rocky boots. my wife bought them for me for christmas last year. they are size 11 and have 1200 grams of thinsulate. I wore them once and they were a little too small. I kept putting off returning them for a bigger size and so they have just been sitting in the closet. They were 169.00 I will sell them to you for 70.00 plus shipping if you are interested. They even still have that new smell inside of them.
