cowboy4513 - I think we have a real problem. I sent him a MO about a month ago and have got nothing but excuses since then. Looks like we need to get together and see where to go from here. I will send you a PM .

What's his address. Maybe we can get a member here to "look him up" for ya!! Obviously some sort of fraud going on here if he sold the same unit to two different people. That's one reason that I refuse to deal with newbie members.

cowboy4513 and I have both been in contact with him. We have decide that we will give him a couple of days to come up with the funds that he owes us. It has been one lie after another. If we do not receive our money back in the next couple of days we will post his information publicly. We both believe it was a scam and the rangefinder never existed.

Yeah Im 100% positive the Rangefinder never existed who the hell would sell a $475 dollar range finder for $180 and $100 dollars easily triple that on Ebay. Its just some punk kid trying to scam honest people. He has two posts i doubt if he will be back here.

I had tried to purchase this and contacted him twice. I requested his address and phone number and he never contacted me. It seemed kind of fishy. I also looked on another bb and he had tried to sell some stuff there as well. I dont know if the other people on the board got scammed as well.
My advice is to bring a copy of the post and any and all e-mails and paperwork to the U.S. Postal inspector. I would also file a claim with the police dept where the scumbag lives.
good luck

Seth and I both received a refund from he guy. We where going to follow up on the issue together through the local law enforcement. He was a punk kid trying to scam us. Think he realized that he was doomed if he did not do something.
