After recently upgrading my woodworking tools, I have begun making & selling more turkey box calls.
The calls in the picture above both have checkered sides and inlaid mahogany lids. Both the bases are rosewood; one has mahogany sides and the other has one mahogany and one maple side. Please note that this picture is an example only, and is not of the actual calls for sale!
I recommend the version with 2 mahogany sides - each side always ends up sounding a little different, and I think the mahogany sounds the best in a call of this size (this model is about 8 1/4" long x 2" high x 1 3/4" wide). Other woods are available upon request. These calls have a lower pitched tone than most of the commercial calls out there.
I'm offering these calls at a price of $30 each (this includes shipping to the US/Canada). For an additional $10, I'd be happy to personalize the call by inlaying your initials in the bottom of the call (see below).
