I've been making boxcalls for a few years, now, and I am ready to sell a couple of them. I make each call by hand from start to finish -- from the first cut of a chainsaw into a round piece of log to the last coat of polyurethane finish. I hope you would be so kind as to take a look at my first batch for this year and consider me if you are in the market for a new boxcall. I hope to have some more to post in a week or two, but from different woods - some of which I have not tried before. If I get the sound I want out of them, I will put them up, also.
The first pic is representative of the whole batch of 23 calls. In this batch I have three different combinations: Walnut over Poplar, Spanish Cedar and Red Cedar.
Here is a cloder look at each type. First, the Walnut over Poplar.
Next is the Spanish Cedar
and finally, the Eastern Red Cedar
I am asking $30.00 for them since I am unknown at this time and I will pick up the postage. I date, number and log each call, and list the wood(s) each is made from. I will be happy to sign or personalize it if you want. I am not set up on payPal nor can I accept credit cards at this time, but a money order or check will do just fine. As I said before, I make each call by hand, so I will probably be able to turn out about 30 (or so) more calls before I shut the shop down for 6 weeks starting March 15th for our turkey season here in Mississippi. I can build yours left-handed if you want.
If you are intertested, please send me an email to
km2@att.net and I will answer each one to confirm your order and tell you where to send the M.O. or check.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
