Default Treestand help

I recently came across a Warren and Sweat Hardwood Classics Treestand in pristine condition. The problem is no one seems to be able to set it up and work it. (You all would have appreciated the comedy of us setting it around the telephone pole outside our office and the power company guy rolling up on us. We had no intention of actually climbing the pole just wanted to see how it set up.) The owner hasn't used it in abouit 10 years and can't remember how to operate it. I can get itfrom him for nothing but can't figure out how it works. Can anyone help?????
