If I am hunting at my grandpa's and see some horse or cow poo, I will step in it real good and rub a little under my armpits. I still pay real close attention to the wind but they seem to spook less with the familiar smell of the poo.

I just use baking soda in the wash and rinse cycles for my clothing, then they go into a closet with an ozone generator to keep them as scent free as they're likely to get. I've been using Fresh Earth cover scent in one form or another for over ten years, usually the discs these days. One cover scent I never enter the woods without is Deer dander™, that stuff is great.

My wife had bought me the DDW travel pack for me for my birthday. One day when I was getting ready for work I let my dogs in the house shortly after letting them out and as I was filling my coffee thermos I smelled skunk! One of my dogs had been sprayed. To get the smell out as quick as possible, the first thing that came to mind was the DDW in the next room! It actually worked quite well. Wasn't the permanent fix but worked til I got home to really get scrubbing and airing everything out. Been using DDW ever since.

Morning shower with scent free soap, dress in the field using clothes that have been kept in rubbermaid tote, spray down with scent eliminator and hunt the wind. I also climb high (25-30 feet), more so to avoid being spotted when rattling or scanning the area. Thought about Scent Lok/Scent Blocker garments but have had great luck without them.
