Default Quality rubber boots

Any one have any luck with a good pair of knee high rubber boots??? Seems like every year I buy a pair for Bow hunting< scouting< crossing small creeks and I always seem to put on hole in them. Is this normal??? or am I just buying cheap boots????

Thanks

I've had the same problem with the current version of the La Crosse models. I'm done with La Crosse. I went to Cabella's dura-trax and Chota marsh boots II. Both are tough. I've turkey huntedand bowhunted in theCabella's now for 3 years with no damage. Also easier to get on and off.

I still have a couple of pairs of the older Alpha Burly Sports... love them.

I have had Rocky (absolute junk), LaCrosse and I just bought my first pair of Muck. The Muck boots are by far the best boots that I've ever used. Very strong in the foot and ankle area and very comfortable. Also the most expensive.

LaCrosse are now made in China and aren't as good as the older models. I get about 2-3 years out of them now and the older ones lasted for years andI still have them. I got a pair of Cabelas for ice fishing 14 months ago and they now have cracks (now holes)just above the ankles. I hope they take them back. They are made in China too.

I have a pair now for 5 years and they are great.I only use them for deer and turkey.Rabbit hunting i got a cheaper pair to go through the brush with. After deer and turkey,i put them away and never use them for nothing else.
