Default Boycott Natchez unless you want to be screwed

Recently bought a scope from Natchez in Dec that was suppose to be on sale. Then in Jan, they go and drop the price another 30%. So I call them up asking for a credit for the scope I bought and they said that it was different inventory lots and that they would lose money to credit me. How can a company not know what new stock and pricing they will be getting a month apart? They deliberately want to screw the people buying the last pieces off the last lot. Their sales guys should be shot for having a price drop right after another "sale" and not supporting the price gurantee. These do not deserve any business from me or you, so I'm spreading the word.

Spread the word all you want, but you are not going to spread curse words doing it!

I can feel your pain. These things happen. I don't believe any shooter suppliers or mail orders companies will refund the difference . I doubt if any of the bigger chains store would either.Like already mentioned sales have dates when they start and when they end. They are not obligated I'm sure.I prefer dealing with Midsouth but I've dealt with Natchez several times. Always received good service from them. You can call for a boycott if you wish. I personally don't see where they did anything out of the ordinary.

I see you're new here. Welcome to the forum.I would recommend watching your language here. It's not tolerated here or most forums.I would like to see you start out here on the right foot.

Look at it this way........you buy something on sale at a department store before Christmas. So when the clearance sales appear in January you really expect the department store to give you the extra discount?

You're correct Cougar Mag I would never expect to be compensated if I paid to much for something before the closeout mark downs or sales for that matter. Can't blame anyone but yourself. That's why we wait to the end of hunting season ,then we hit the Wal*marts for their closeouts. Why pay full price when you know they are going to mark them down. Every year we go through this same process and usually make out well. After Christmas allot of stores would rather sell it at a discount then store it throughout the year.Scopes ,ammo and other things sell year round. Camo clothes and hunting supplies are pretty much seasonal.I hate seeing hunting season come to an end. When it comes to bargains I love that time of the year..How about a Cannon gun safe 23 gun model, fire rated w/ electronic lock.Under 600.00.That was one of W*M's closeouts last year.Just have to wait until the right deal comes along.

I would expect to get the sale price. If not ,return it and buy it over again.I bought a portable dvd player for my son online on Thanksgiving day from Circuit City.A week or so later,it went on sale for $50 less.I called and asked if I could get the sale price or not. They said yes, just bring in the receipt and they would give me the difference. The price was so good,I got 1 for my other son so they wouldn't be fighting over it.The regular price was $199 and after the second sale it was down to $79 with rebates. They work great and I have 2 happy kids.I believe that the policy is usually within 30 days around here.

Same thing happened where I buy my pool supplies, a few days later the Item went on sale. When I went back they did give me the differance. When I asked them why they didn't teel me of the sale they said they had no idea what was going to be on sale as they hadn't received notice from their main office.
