I'm thinking it would take a pretty junky trail cam to not work properly in any sort of rain??? Most quality units are gasket sealed or have a overlip to prevent problems with moisture.. I have owned several different cams in both 35mm and Digital and I've never experienced ANY problems. From torential downpours, freezing rain, snow, you name it, mine have all worked fine and performed exactly as they should!
