Does anyone know if it would harm you gun if you leave hoppes elite inside of it? This stuff dries right so i don't think it would harm it but just wanted to know if there would be any damage to the metal at all if I somehow didn't get it all completely out from a dry patch, also what other gun cleaning products to do you recomend? Im not sure if this post should go hear but this looked like the most appropriate spot for it. Thank-you!
Been using the Elite products, they work really well. I prefer the Bore Gel (little easier to use) and the Gun Oil. Once I get clean and dry patches, I use the gun oil and leave it in, no dry patch until I plan on shooting it again. The bore gel I've left in the barrel for upto 5 minutes but I don't think you really need to leave it that long.
