Default RE: stealth cam questions

the display screen in the front will say 'E" for error or empty if the film isint loaded correctly. the same front display will show how many pictures have been taken. i always walk by the unit once or twice and then check the screen to make sure its working and taking pictures o.k.i figure its better to waste a picture or two then to come back in a week or 2 and find i have no pictures. when you first load the camera and set it to on i think it gives you 5 minutes to get out of the way before it takes a picture. you can do a search also to find other helpful stealth cam ideas. off the top of my head i think the kodak 400 speed works great for day and night pictures. i like to set my camera up no more than waste high and try not to set the camera up facing east or west because the sun may trigger the camera falsely. if you go to get your film and there are still some pictures left on the roll i think you have to set it to test then hit the tiny rewind button with a pen point. i usually only get 2 or 3 rolls of film out of the stealth cam before i have to replace all the batteries.i use a battery tester to make sure because fresh batteries are important for it to work good. i leave it out no more than a week or two at a time.be very gentle on the plastic clips that hold the unit closed i broke one. good luck!

you may want to use Kodak film, not Fuji. I had trouble with the Fugi film not rewinding when done and when you try to use the manuel rewind that doesn't work either. I saw a earlier post and that said there seems to be some type of problem with the Fugi film not rewinding.
