Default Packs for hunting/hauling...

I'm curious about any experiences with the Badlands 2200 pack and hauling boned-out elk quarters. What I'd like to do is get a pack that I can hunt comfortably and quietly with, then after boning and quartering a buck or elk, haul back part of it to save a trip. I've also read up a bit on Kifaru's packs, but don't much like the idea of the $ or the fleece panels. Seems like too much nylon still available for branches to make noise on.

Several of us in our camp have been using the Cabelas Alaskan pack/frame, and we've been very satisfied with the quality and usefulness. Give them a looksee.
