Default Tree Stands for less than $100

So I am looking to add 2-3 tree stands to my collection of gear this year. One has to be extremely light (I have some 1-2 mile hikes to spots), and the other I would like to be a bit bigger but still under 15 lbs. I like hang on types of stands best, not too many trees around here for a nice climber.

Whats out there? The cheaper the better.............

Anyone know of some real cheap ones? If I can find em around $50 or less, I would rather have 3 small ones than 2 nicer ones. Suggestions are appreciated.

Unfortunately, cheap and lightweight in a treestand usually do not go together. Generally, most cheaper stands are steel, which means they are heavy and cumbersome. I bought a couple Hunters View stands a couple years ago for 60 bucks shipped. However, they are heavy and a chore to hang.

Thats kind of unfortunate. Back in the early 90's I bought 2 from cabelas that were only like $60 a piece and was like 6lbs....I want to replace them now though as they have quite a bit of wear on them.

Anyone else?

Problem is cheap and light weight don't mix very well. The best deal I found like that was earlier this year at Bass Pro. They had their Gorilla Silverback (Aluminum) stands on sale for $69.99.

Most of the stands are going to run in the $100 and up.

That being said, I highly recommend the Summit Headhunter Lite and a set of Summit Bucksteps to go with it. Each run about $99 plus shipping.
