safari slings anybody??

has anyone used a safari sling and how do you like them ??

I keep one one my inline ML. I have to hike in a decent way to get away from everyone else since I only have access to public land. Anyway the thing makes snap shooting a bit quicker if I bump a buck.

i use one on my 26' brownning. sure helps alot with fatige,after 3/4 days in a row i really apreciate the wide strap and multiple positions, i had to buy one for my son after he borrowd mine once, i think you would like it. also itworks welll for military arm wrap, i can't speak for snap shots as i have not had that happen .my 2cts

I use mine at all times, it helps in all carry/comfort situations, and gives you quick access for shots.

I bought one for my father 2 years ago because his neck bothers him while walking and carrying a shotgun.

BEST $20 I HAVE EVER SPENT!!!!!

Not only did it allow my dad to hunt longer and in more comfort............it goes right on my gun when dad heads back to Florida

It is absolutely a must for walking days. You don't even realize you are carrying a gun. I can walk all day and not get tired.


As for being able to get into shooting position quickly?? I was walking with my safari sling and my hands in my pockets when a buck got up in a field and tried to trot into the sunset...........took about 2 seconds for me to get that gun up, pop the safety and put a slug behind his shoulder. With that gun hanging on my shoulder I don't get that buck.
