Default RE: API Packmaster

I don't own this treestand, but did consider it once before I bought a Summit.

I read a review on it and they said that it is a sturdy, rugged, telescoping, "hybrid" type of ladder/hang-on/climbing stick type of treestand. The review said it telescopes out with ease up to 17 feet too and has quiet ratchet straps for around the tree. But the negative aspect of it is after the hunt. Getting it down... The review said it doesn't like to line up right for the main locking pin, once it's telescoped down. You have to giggle it around and work it around, but it eventually will go in and lock in place for easy backpack carry.

I hope this helps. Bass Pro Shops has the API Packmaster in their catalog too. Good luck!
