Default Rimfire scopes???

I am goin to be buying a .22 and i was wondering what would be a good scope for this. I would want it around or under $100. Thanks a lot for any advice.

Default RE: Rimfire scopes???

Swift Premier 4-12x40 AO, for $115 at www.eabco.com

Probably the best scope for the money on the market. Another options is a Mueller 4-16x50 AO for $149, or a 3-9x40 for around $119 (both Mueller's come with red dot reticle)

Just my 2 cents........im thinking about getting the 4-16x50 AO for an awsome .22 I am trying to get the money to configure (I want to get either a CZ Varmint, or American, and top it off the the Mueller i mentioned!! That would be one tree rat killin' machine)

Hope this helps!!

Weaver makes a great .22 scope you can get it on riflescopes.com for around $120. I picked one up, but my Kimber .22 hasn't come in yet, so the scope just sits there and mocks me...

a good 4x scope works good for 22's and you can prob. find a good 4x for under 100

A good 4x is more than enough for a .22 you can get a good Tasco or Simmons at Wal-mart for under $50.00.
