Red Dot Scope

I'm looking to buy a Bushnell Trophy Red Dot scope for my Winchester 1300 with a rifled barrel for deer hunting and I heard that the scope is only accurate up to 75 yards, is this true???

You may wish to consider a higher quality sight considering the recoil of the gun you mentioned. I tried a bush on my Marlin 1895 GG in .45-70 and in less then 30 shots it was shattered. I then moved on, bit the bullet, and invested in an AimPoint Red Dot...and I love it. Still going strong after hundreds upon hundreds of rounds. I have the non Magnified version and I can still get 3 inch groups at 100 yards.... Not bad considering the rifle and round.

I use Millit 30mm red dots ,I can group inside 3" at 150 yd with my TC Contender 45/70 so 100 yds with a shotgun should be doable.
