I've only heard good things on the TV ads, and bad things from guys that buy them.

I bought one, a game finder JR, a few years back, I hated it, I don't think it worked or it was to dang complicated for me to work correctly. Anyway it's now gone thanks to Ebay. Save your money.

Ditto, "Save Your Money". I have a Jr. about the size of a pack of cigs. It finds everything...every rock, every sun warmed tree. Lots and Lots of false readings. But hey I have it so I use it. I discovered that if I turn it sideways and wave fast I don't get quite as many. But its a waste of a hundred bucks, total waste.

i bought a pro model and used it on a few occassions.it did help me find a deer on one hunt.i never knew what it would pick up on.i looked for a deer my last year and never could find it.the only thing i found was a place where my buddy too a leak.i could not even sell the thing. i finally found a very young hunter and suckered him into trading me for it.like the other people have said save youe money.cabelas and bass pro will tell you up front they will not refund your money.
