Default Cabelas as an investment?

I'm not a stock guy but I just saw on Cabelas website they have issued stocks now. Considering their history, I'm thinking it looks like a good buy. Are there any brokers out there that can give some advice on wether or not this would be something worth investing in. I love the store so why not buy the stock is the way I'm looking at it, what do you guy's think? Now I just gotta find some $$$ to invest JDinAB

JD, Sound like a good idea. I don"™t think it would hurt to put little $$$ in a place that you know is selling good products.

i have been watching Galyans stock for about a month, missed a huge opportunity last week, Dick's bought them out and their stock went from $10 to over $16 in one day. dont expect it to do much now.

When did Cabela's go public? I may have to check that out. It will probably do really well with all us folks that are hunters that suffer from OCD. (Obsessive Compulive Disorder) [8D]

Im not a broker but I bought stock. 150 shares to be exact. Cabelas is a strong, solid company. I also bought stock in Walmart. These two companies are pretty much household names now. My wife spends it at walmart and I spend it at cabelas. OR we can now say we are just investing there? Go to Scotttrade online investing. Its easy to start. For only $500 you to can have stock in a company you already pour hundreds of dollars into every year.[]
