Default Sotting Scopes

Checked out the Nikon and Leopold 15-45X60 spotting scopes today, had to say the Nikon was a lot clearer. Anyone use any of these scopes or any other type at a comperable price of around $300 - $400. Im interested in getting some opinions before I make a purchase...Thanks

Skid, I have the Leupold 15-45 x 60 Sequoia. I"™ve had it for about a year now and have only used it at the range. I like using the 15 power , it"™s nice and clear and has a good field of view. When zoomed up to 45 power the FOV gets pretty small. They probably all do that but I"™m not sure. I would have liked to compare the spotting scopes before buying but around here we don"™t have that privilege so I ended up ordering the Leupold with out seeing it. Works pretty good but I made the mistake of looking thru the Swarovski spotting scope when I was at Cabela"™s....... NOW THAT"™S A SCOPE BUT WITH A HECK OF A PRICE. Good luck.p

Hi Skid,
I have a Bushnell 20-60X63 Trophy Waterproof Spotting Scope.
I found it online for about $250 and i cant complain. It finds 22 holes at 100 yards just fine.
good luck
