Default Honda Fourtrax 4WD

I am thinking of buying a new Honda Fourtrax Rancher 4WD.

I'd like to find out if anyone on the board has any exerience with this ATV and get their thoughts.

I owned the 350es for a couple of years and found it to be very light and easy to handle while being very fuel efficient. It is also extremely dependable requiring very little maintenance.I upgraded to the rubicon to get the larger liquid cooled engine and hydrostatic transmission as I haul and tow some very heavy loads with my atv's.

Thanks for the feedback stubblejumper.

I compared features and attributes of Kawasaki, Yamaha, Artic Cat, and Honda. I too felt it was the only one that met my needs best.

I didn't want the large ones because they wouldn't work well where I plan on using it.

I can't vouch for the Fourtrax, but I have a 2WD Rancher, w/electric shift! I love it! Yamaha and Kawasaki make good ATV's but my first choice will always be Honda!

I had bought a brand new 1987 Honda Fourtrax 4x4 with the 350cc. I had it for years and it never let me down. Did allot of hunting and trail riding. Only got it stuck once but other then that it was a great machine. Ended up selling it for a good price. The fellow who has it, uses it for goose hunting and has never regretted buying it. Hondas are solid machines....
