Default steiner binocs?

Does anyone have experience with steiner binoculars? I was thinking of getting the peregrines. haven't decided on the 8x42's or the 10x42's yet any sugestions? I will be mostly whitetail hunting in wisconsin with trips out west for elk and to canada for various species. Any help is great. Thank you.
Jeff

I use the Steiner Predators in 8X42. I don't have much experience with the other higher end glasses, but the Steiners do just fine for me. They're very clear and bright and are not excessively heavy. As with just about anything, its going to come down to what "fits" you the best.

I have used my Big Horns for about 8 years and think they are a great value. Very clear optics.

I tried a pair and was disappointed. For the price they didn't stack up to well against my cheaper Bushnells.
