RE: Relite Tents
I have an outfitters tent from Montana Canvas made of relite. the material is real strong and like you said lite. it stood up to approx a 30-40 mph wind last fall while elk hunting: yes we were in a semi shelter area but it withstood the wind beautifullly,we also had about a foot of snow later on and it did not bother it either. the only problem with it is the seam area ,must be careful not to put the spikes into the ground to tight, that area will rip from the single area real easy but once it is up cant beat it. I would definitely buy another tent made of relite.
