Default Cabela's Polartec Fleece ?

I've been looking for a warm second layer of clothing for those cold mornings. I'm considering Cabela's polartec 200 series. If anyone has used this I would like your opinion on it or your suggestions on a warm second layer. I've decided to use polypropylene underwear from my army surplus store and merino wool socks for my base layer. I also have Cabela's Bibs and Jacket with wind shear for my outer layer.
