Default Advice on cheap scope

I just bought myself a new tikka t3 and went abit over budget so I can't get the Bushnell 4200 elite...yet ! So what should I get to hold me through till I can get a good scope. I have about $$175 US for scope and rings and mounts.
Cheers!!

My advice on a cheap scope is, DON"T GET ONE!
You will almost certainly get what you pay for!
For a few more dollars you could get a Leupold or Nikon!

You will be better off in the long run to get a quality scope and only buy one time.

Check out BSA..... cheaper scope, but I've seen a few and they are pretty nice. But I do agree, most times you get what you pay for. There are diamonds in the rough though.

do not buy a cheap scope, waste of your money; for about $250 you can get a Nikon buckmaster 3-9x40 including mount and rings,, i have this scope on my 30.06 and it is great

I've been there with having to buy a cheaper scope...I've had pretty good luck with the Bushnell Banner scopes.

The 3200 is a very good scope for the price.I would avoid tasco, simmons or bsa.

If your thinking about a 3200 instead of the 4200, once you have it on the gun you'll probably decide not to buy the 4200. Very little difference in my opinion. If your set on wanting a 4200 I also recommend the Banner line until you can afford the 4200. But honestly if you have the money for the 3200 just hold off a little longer and get what you want.
