Default Hunting aids for hearing impaired

I am deaf in one ear and have a 20% loss in the other. The last several years it's been tough hunting. I have perscription hearing aids however these only serve to confuse me as to the sounds direction. Have any of you tried any of the new style hearing enhancement aids for hunting ie. pro ears, sonics etc. what is your opinion or exsperience with them. Remember it is not so much the volume I'm looking for it's the directional ability that they have.
