red dot or diamond scope

i been using fiber optics and open sights for years and now i have two scopes sitting here. a red dot and simmons diamond scope. which ones would you choose.i am leading toward the red dot scope,but i hear they are hard to pick up the red dot with a quick shoulder mount. any suggestions.

I to have a diamond scope that I have hunted with the past several years, but I bought a red dot for this season. My hunting buddy swears by them.
