Moose hoof based water repellent?
I've heard talk in many places of a moose hoof-based water repellent for boots and other leather. I can't seem to find any manufacturers thru web searches so I assume there is a small non-Internet connect mom & pop company making this stuff? Is it rural legend? Anyone know of a manufacturer or a private person making the stuff (legally of course, local shop wants in on purchasing some too)?
