Default Boresighter

Has anyone ever used the BSA Boresighter. It looks the same as the bushnell, but I can get this for $30.00 instead of $80.00 for the bushell. I don' t want to buy it if its no good. I don' t know anything about BSA but they sell the in the sportsman Guide for $30.

Pinesap ,
I have the identical model you looked at , it works well enough to get you on the paper . It also had the side effect of leveling the reticle as well . I sighted in my Marlin 60 for squirrel with it , and it consistantly busted 2" Shatterblast targets at 60 yards .

Lets put it this way. It can' t be any worse then the Trasco Shot Saver I bought.I' ve used it many times. I' m lucky to hit the paper at 100 yards.I bought one of the BSA' s at BassPro for 30.00. I haven' t used it yet to know if it' s better then the Trasco or not. I hate to say it they look almost identical.

The only problem that I have with it is the studs fit loose in the barrel allowing the bore sighter to move all over the place. It works best with a sighting vice.

Yes ,
the arbors do fit loosely . I solved that prob by wrapping the arbor with a rubber band .
