A three wheeler will definately work. My buddy used an old Honda ATC125 for years. If you haul a deer on the back it' s not going to want to turn very good. Be careful going up hills because it' s gonna want to rare up on you. Oh, and don' t ever try to load it up onto the back of a truck with a deer on the back. I had another buddy that tried that one two years ago. As he started up on the truck it flipped over backwards on him. The handle bars caught him in the forehead. He was by himself and it knocked him out cold for about an hour.

Never thought about the wagon. Sounds like that would work great. Yep, we' ll have to get together soon. The deer haven' t been moving much. Hunted last Saturday and only saw 2 does. Went today and only saw a spike. I' m not sure what' s going on but I' m sure it will get better.

I use a 3 wheeler 4 pulling deer every year. I find a deer pulls easy, tied on the back head first, dragging the deer on the ground. Up here we have snow on the ground, so the deer slides easier.

Hey Click, I had a Yamaha 200 three wheeler when I was growing up. I don' t know if it was the exact model you' re looking at, but it was yellow. That thing ran like a champ, but the engine sat far back in the frame which made it very light in the front end. Unless you' re getting a killer deal on it (perhaps $500 or less), I would get a four wheeler.

Hey click I had a Yamaha 200E that was an 85 model. It was about 12 years old before the motor seased up. I put cheap oil in the engine. Anyway I had a manual boat winch and a front rack and lights all on the front. I though it was weighted fine. Carried many deer on the back of it. If it runs good and doesn' t smoke $400 would be worth it to me.

Absolutely! I had a 225 Yamaha three wheeler and theres nothing that thing wouldn' t do. People will tell you ," Those things are dangerous" , but just remembr what you are riding and learn it' s characteristics and limits and you will definately have one very woods friendly deer draggin atv.

I have a Honda Big Red 3 wheeler and have hauled lots of deer with it. I will say with a deer on the back its just enough weight to make the front end a little light and steering a little tricky. Going up a steep hill makes it even more interesting. Be carefull, go slow and keep your weight forward and you wont have any problems.
