Ground blind preparation
Hey guys, so I am enjoying my first year out in woods. So I ended up buying a cheap pop-up blind seeing it might come in handy for rainy days, but mainly because I was able to gain access to hunt a farm with little tree cover. My question to you guys, is How do you get rid of the smell? How long do you air it out for? Would waterproofing spray only increase the oder? Do you do anything to air out the carry case?
I doubt I'll be using it much on public grounds , manly got it for the farm, but it might be a good tool to have while bow hunting turkey and deer. Anyway your advice is always appreciated and I am going to try to get some doves this Saturday, that's if there's any left.

Set it up for a few days in the yard. I don't remember mine smellling, but they are old, and I don't use them much.
I don't think you should need to water proof it. But I have never been in mine in a down pour. Set it up and find out. You will want to practice folding it up. Then can be a bugger.
