Default Boot Dryers

I'm looking for a boot dryer so I don't have to put my $200.00 boots anywhere near the wood stove to dry out.

I came across Peet Boot and Shoe dryers. http://www.peetshoedryer.com/index.html

In particular I'm looking at the propane version.

Has anyone had any experience with them?

Thanks

HA

I have the Peet electric version, I use it on everything from waders to sneakers. The dryer works great!

Thanks MW,

How long to dry out a pair of boots after a day in the bush?

About 3 hours if the insides are just damp, over night if the insides are soaked real bad.

I have tried many styles of boot dryers

I use these - small to pack - easy to use, and over night I can have a pair of leather boots dry that I poured water out!

- Never leave home with out them

I have a boot dryer, not sure if it's the peet one but they all look exactly the same to me. It uses gentle heat which is important for a shoe/boot because the rubber sole can shrink on some footwear.

I don't ever remember mine not being dry the next morning. I don't know what I'd do without my boot dryer, I love the rain so I'm usually out in it when it rains. Sometimes I don't wear my waterproof boots, sometimes they spring a leak.

I agree, wet feet and boots are the kiss of death on a week long hunt. I have a PEET unit. I have never checked how long, they are always dry the next day, no matter how wet they were. If I was somewhere theres no electricity i wouldn't hesitate to buy the propane unit. They're only twice the price of the plug in. http://www.bing.com/shopping/peet-pr...ryer&FORM=HURE
