Default range finder difficulties

i got a yardage pro500 i beleive is the name, anyways when i press the button to do the yardage all im gettin is Er6 and i cant find a bushnell site so can anybody help me on what this error is and what i need to do, its prolly somethign simple, thanks

Bushnell' s web site is www.bushnell.com. I poked around there and didn' t find any answers to your question though. Might take a call to their customer support number.

What kind of battery are you using? Something on Jesse' s hunting page - http://www.jesseshuntingpage.com/rangefinders.html mentions error codes received if using heavy duty batteries.
