Default Binoculars

I think that I I should get a new set of binos as my old ones are the very inexpensive verson, under $50.00. I now have to wear glasses and can' t see as well as I could in low light as I could 30 yrs. ago . Could I get some recommendations for some that I can wear comfortably around my neck in the $150.00-$200.00 range. Thanks for any suggestions on this matter . RvF

Check out www.outdoorlife.com . They have a write up on gear test 2002 on binoculars. This might help you out...I have just purchased the Bushnell Legend 8 x 42 with the rainguard and I was impressed with them but the big test will be this hunting season. Good luck in your purchase...

I have 3 sets of Pentax Binos and they have a number of models that would fit into your budget. Very impressed with quality and they carry a lifetime warranty (which I have found appears to be no fault, as I have sent back 2 pairs due to my own stupidity and never paid a dime to have them repaired).
