Default Summit 180 Treestand

For those who have used this stand how do you like it compared to the Viper, Titan Etc?
I have the Viper and am 6'4" and need more leg room when sitting down.

Default Well son

I think a lot of modern tree stands are made for people up to 280 pounds with unusually short arms and legs.
It seems there are more hunters with corpulent bodies, than long legs.

Thumbs up

That's the thing about climbers, you can adjust the height between the upper and lower sections. Also, their Goliath and Titan model's, have wider top seating sections as well. I love the Summits, especially the Viper "Goliath" model.

I ended up buying the Titan and love it!! Only bad thing is I can't use the seat or padding this year due to the odor in the cloth. I called Summit and they said I could wash it in a bathtub so I did and it helped somewhat. I've got the seat and padding hanging outdoors.
I purchase a web type seat made by Hazmore and its sweet and gets the job done and has no odor but not near as comfy as the Summit seat.

180 max is made so you can sit facing tree.the bar on front is longer than titan and round.you have to use seat to climb ,then reverse the seat if you want to face away from tree.
i like facing tree in gun season and away in archery season.
both TITAN/180 MAX have same floor and top width.

i would not buy any stand other than GOLIATH,TITAN,180 MAX.
GOLIATH has smaller floor but weights 21 pds.
TITAN/180 MAX has big floor but weights 25 pds.i like more room so titan/ 180 max is what i have.but replace the carrying straps with better straps as they are awful from factory.

180 MAX is one i use most do to better seat.

A comfortable seat doesn't mean a lot to me. I bowhunt only and probably stand 90% of the time.

take seat, in fact take whole stand, get coffee can and fill with pine needles and oak leaves.light it and let smoke hit your seat and stand.

i have been doing it for 46 yrs, dad taught us long ago.we used to smoke our clothes before each hunt.

it lasts for longtime also.you dont need to do it daily.wish i could staND LIKE YOU. BACK PROBLEMS AND 56 YRS YOUNG AND I HAVE TO HAVE BEST SEAT.summit surround seat is best i have found.
