I am qualified to tell my personal fact that ScentLok definitely works. Ever since it first came out, I was using it religiously in the field bowhunting whitetails. I use to have at least 4 garments at once. The close encounters I had with whitetails at such a close distance when the deer were straight down wind of me or crossed my scent stream as they were walking... and to not EVER have a whitetail smell me to the point where they were alarmed in the least, shows me that it does work... absolutely. However, I did not treat it like the magic pill. I did have a clean regimen. If you look above at doetrain's cleaning regimen, then step it up a tad more, plus wear ScentLok with a customized DOUBLE breath shield, you'll start to realize why it worked so well with me. I have had way too many close encounters with downwind whitetails to think it does not work. One year from Sept. to Dec. 31, I missed about 21 days of hunting. Do the math; I'm out there quite a bit enjoying nature's beauty... up close and personal.
I do not believe I need ScentLok to be successful. I downed many a deer even before ScentLok was heard of, like many here. Using scent killer products do work and if you couple that with good ol' hunting prowess and working with the wind, you're bound to get what you are after, period.

The theory versus the actuality just doesn't work, and that is why Scent Lok lost the lawsuit, and I wouldn't be surprised if other so called scent blocker sprays/clothing are successfully sued as well. A deer's nose, as well as most other wildlife, has an incredible ability to detect minute parts per million scent molecules. I understand that a deer's nose is as good or better than a bloodhounds. When these type products are proven by independent testing to work fooling a bloodhounds nose I may believe in them.
The products don't fool the animals nose, they fool the hunter.
Scent Lok has 8 class action lwsiuts against it, in different states. In the first case in Minnesota, a Federal Court judge , just recently found them guilty of "fraud"s for false advertising, because their product can neither "eliminate"" human odors, nor can it be re-activated in a household dryer, because it takes over 500, and some say 1500 degrees to reactivate activated carbon of the 40+ compounds found in homan perspiration.
Scent Lok also lost it's patents, because the technology to reduce odors in clothing was already patented. Right now anyopne can make and produce odor reducing clothihg, becauae Scent Lok lost the patents. I'd look for new, innovatve products (that actually do wrrk) to be on the market within the year.
what got sscent lok , ws thei8r outlansidh claims, which they could not prove. I guesyou should not lie to the US Government.

The only other company that could he, is Robinson/Scent BLocker, and they already settled their case in all 8 states, but now they are being sued by Scent Lok. I hear they shelled out over $3 million dollars, but it may not be right.
The companies other thn Scent Lok, named in the lawsuits, are Cabela's, Gander Mountain and Browning, They all paid royalties to use products from Scent Lok to put into their clothing. They are all liable- along with Scent Lok. If the Scent Lok patent was no good, I wonder if those companeis will sue Scent Lok to get back all of the royalties they have paid over the years,

I too, have used both Scent blocker and Scent lok. I love them both, its sad people are suing everyone in this world for anything and everything thay can...If you dont like the product, get a refund and dont buy it again...I use many products out there to help me be a better hunter, some work some dont, But you dont see me suing...It's crazy!!!! My opinion...So are they gonna sue the toilet paper business , because it claims its soft, and it feels like sand paper or the shoe company, because the shoes dont make you a faster runner, or fabric softner you use, smells bad ... or the diet products out there , because you didnt lose the weight. so many things .....come on now...Get over it! I heard that Hank and Larry of Tinks 69 commercial fame, were called in as expert witnesses for the Plaintive!!!
One thing about Scentlok, it can"t hurt. Does it work? This may be a little indelicate, but try wearing your Scentlok suit after a good soup bean dinner, I guaruntee it doesn't block that scent.

Like iSnipe said, if you use it to enhance everything else you doing to be and stay as scent free as posiable it can't hurt. I light of all the sueing going on with those companies, I think it works. I have had to many experiances to prove to me that it does.
