Thumbs up Got a new Grizzly 550!!!

So I bit the bullet and bought a new 2009 Yamaha Grizzly 550 EPS (much to my wife's displeasure!). My '97 Kodiak is a great ATV but was getting a little long in the tooth and I was wanting a new machine. The Kodiak is still in great shape and is a workhorse, but I have had my eye on the Grizzlies ever since they came out with power steering. I have to say, I really like it. It has a smooth ride and feel, great turning radius, looks great, and good power. I can't wait to put it and the power steering to the test in the Adirondacks this year. I put on ITP TerraCroos tires one size up (26x11x12 rear & 26x9x12 front). They really make the machine look nice, give it some more clearance, and are suppposed to be great on the trail. Only real thing I don't like about it is the rack are rather small and sit tight to the body. This will make hauling and attaching gear a bit difficult (I think I will do some modifications to the racks). Does anyone else have any experience with modifying the racks on the newer Grizzlies???
BTW - the '97 Kodiak is for sale in the classifieds if anyone is interested.

Pictures of the new rig are attached.

Congrats looks like a good one!
I have driven a couple in my lifetime, they seem to be a powerful machine.

Forgot to mention....

Thought I got a good price (that's what made me make the jump). Base price was $6495. Total with tax, winch, & new tires was ~$7750 ($500+ in tax, $450 for winch/install, & ~$500 for tires and a $200 credit for stock tires).

Nice ride. You have what I consider to be one of the best bikes out there.
