This question may have been asked before, but has anyone used the battery heated socks? My kids feet get cold and if they work I would buy some for them.

stay with the heat packs and merlino wool socks with poly wick sock under the wool.get boots so they are not tight.take kids to boot shop with the winter socks they will wear and try on boots.
i got a whole drawer full of battery heated socks some still in packs not used.
They work great as long as it's warm out. The batteries loose their charge pretty quickly in cold weather. Wool socks and heat packs are the way to go.
the batt power is good, i dont leave it on the whole time, but after a few hours my feet are ice ....so i turn it on fer about 30 minutes to warm up ....and again in few more hours..also keeping the upper body warm helps keep the feet warm, as the human body shuts off circulation to the extremities to keep the boiler room hot...so a lil xtra wool up top, not down below.

Ditto on "Toasty Toes". My style of hunting is to slip in and then a lot of hours sitting still. As I have aged, the circulation has dropped off a bunch !! Toasty Toes have worked superb for me for years and they last pretty much all day. A spare pack or two takes up little or no room in a day pack, and weighs essentially squat.

Reason: spelling
get a pair of arctic shield boot covers and put a hot hands in each one.you will never worry about cold feet again.
Ditto. AC boot blankets don't work with heavily insulated boots though, there has to be heat from your feet to reflect back toward your feet for them to work. I've used heated socks and heated insoles, both made my feet sweaty and cold.
