Default LED light works great for following blood

I know Im probably 10 years behind the tech., but I recently was given a nice LED flashlight. I am a died in the wool mag-lite man, and have a worn AA, and a 3D version that have traveled everywhere hunting with me.

Tonight, I had to help track for a hunting partner who pulled his shot, and WOW! that "bluish-white" LED made a difference.

In the dark, the yellowish brite maglites, worked as good as you could ask for, but you had a hard time telling wet red leaves, from blood, or dark spots on leaves from blood etc.
I never new how much of a difference a LED would make.

Blood was RED and easily visible from 6'.

I still prefer the maglite for just "getting around", but that bluish LED, made me a believer for tracking.
Im a very down to earth, no gimmics kinda hunter, but would recommend one of those to anyone for that purpose.

I know they make other types of tracking devices and lights, but the LED type is something you can use throughout the year.
