Default Best Climber?

I was just wondering what the best climber is for the money?

I have used API, Summit, Lone Wolf and a couple others that I can't remember. For me, Summit climbers(particularly the Viper) provide the best balance of comfort, silence, safety, and portability.

I agree with Vahuntr. I have only used one other brand other than my Summit Viper and WOW is there a difference. I went with the less expensive brand the first time and I am so glad I spent the money on the Summit.

Comfort is definitely the key, and you feel very secure in it. Its a well built stand, light, durable, and the company is great.

I've used all and used to sell them as well, and summit is fantastic, but they are quite expensive.

if you are purely looking for functionality and are on a budget, I wouldn't go with summit.

But i do own a summit goliath. Geez is it comfortable.

Thumbs up

I have a Tree Lounger, Ol' Man, and a Summit Goliath. The Summit Goliath is by fat the safest feeling, most comfortable, and it has a great bite on a tree.

Default Nice way

to keep getting the price raised.

Thank goodness my stand got made in the 90's. Can't raised the price on that baby, and it doesn't finish in the no. 1 class anymore. Newbies never heard of it.
